Bath and North East Somerset Council and Cheshire West and Chester Council have decided to upgrade their Stopford packages to include the cloud hosting and Ceremony Planner.
The cloud hosting package will mean that Stopford manage all server arrangements for the system, allowing the council to concentrate on providing an outstanding service to the public. Ceremony Planner on the other hand will help customers plan their wedding or civil partnership ceremony.

Ceremony Planner is the perfect match
Ceremony Planner will aim to assist both local authorities in supporting couples make decisions on their big day. The online planner will allow couples to submit documents, make payments, ask questions and track their progress from the comfort of their own home.
Celebrants will be notified of tasks to be completed through a colour coded task list, which outlines their entire ceremony from start to finish. The chronological list of ceremony choices also allows for users to submit documents and media they want for the ceremony, for example vows and music, directly to the registration service for review and approval.
To help create a free-flowing platform in which tasks can be completed with a few clicks, payment options have been included in the system. The integration of payments will allow both councils to benefit from faster application completion and fewer manual reminders for fees.
