Harlow Council have purchased Stopford’s facility booking system to oversee the management of booking internal rooms.
The council have purchased the off-the-shelf system and will use it to allow members of staff to hire out internal meeting rooms, conferencing facilities and to meet any hot desking requirements that may become necessary in the future of the organisation.
Harlow Council will be able to create council locations and available rooms within the system, including individual room layouts and any included equipment. This will allow staff to book out rooms at ease and prevent double bookings. Automatic booking confirmation and reminder emails and SMS can also be set up.
The Facility Booking System manages not only the booking of rooms, but also the provision of equipment, management of internal staff and the booking of third-party equipment suppliers. Recurring bookings can be set up, and users can see room availability through the system’s calendar view.
Service managers will be able to generate reports directly within the system including room usage reports and attendance reports.
