IT Service Desk Support

Job Specification

We are currently looking for a motivated individual to join our helpdesk/ Support team to provide first line support to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, will be highly flexible, be able to respond quickly and work as part of a team.

The successful applicant will be located at our Chester City Centre office, however due to Covid-19, working from home on occasions may be required. You will be working in an office with software developers, testers, business analysts, project managers, Sales and Marketing, and administration team. Working closely with the entire development team, often roles overlap and there are always chances to be involved with projects of all levels.

Your primary role will be to provide first line support for clients requiring support of our existing products and services with the main duties including:

• Logging all calls received
• liaising with customers to ascertain their issue and delegate accordingly
• Offer end user support where issue is related to functionality of the software
• Monitor issues and their status
• Liaise with clients and update them with the status of their issue.
• Installations / Upgrades
• Investigation of issues

You will be interested in all aspects of ICT and demonstrate a knowledge of computers and their applications.
