Swindon Borough Council are the latest authority to choose agenda for registrars as their booking and management system of choice for registration.
The council which delivers services for over 180,000 local residents will look to use the system to improve on their existing registration infrastructure, and allow citizens to more easily record their important life events with Swindon registrars.
Swindon’s objectives
The South West based authority had looked to update their existing online booking provision, and after a successful demonstration, opted to work with Stopford to deliver their next solution.
By introducing agenda for registrars, Swindon registration service will now be able to expand their bookable services to the public, having previously only delivered birth registrations through online booking. At launch, registrars will have the ability to outline the appointments and ceremonies they want to provide online booking for, ranging from death registrations to marriages and citizenship ceremonies.
Alongside the benefits of greater booking accessibility and channel shift savings, the addition of agenda for registrars will also provide the service with an electronic diary packed with service specific functionality. From features for comprehensive venue and timeslot management to handling bookings and certificate fees, agenda’s market-leading functions will provide plenty of options for Swindon’s registrars to best manage their service.
Finally, Swindon registration service have decided to further enhance their system with both the Contact Centre and Self-Serve modules. Listed on the Registrars Booking product page, the former will provide staff with a condensed version of the booking process to be run through with customers by telephone, while the latter will enable customers to register their arrival via their mobile or a mounted self-service tablet, all designed to help deliver more seamless customer experiences.
