Stopford are awards finalists for ‘Digital Innovation in the Public Sector’ in the Digital Entrepreneur Awards.
The Digital Entrepreneur Awards are the only national awards for internet entrepreneurship. More than 650 entries were submitted this year for the 17 different award categories. Out of the 70 entries submitted for the Digital Innovation award, Stopford have been chosen as one of seven finalists shortlisted within the Northern region.
The Digital Innovation in the Public Sector award aims to highlight organisations’ work to make public services more accessible, in a cost-effective way.
The finalist placing recognises Stopford’s innovative work within the public sector for the past 15 years. Stopford’s comprehensive range of booking systems are currently used by more than 90 local authorities to manage a wide variety of council services, from birth registrations to bulky waste collections. Using Stopford’s booking systems, local authorities are able to save money through channel shift and increase levels of customer engagement through quick and simple online services.
